popping the bubble

chc has been known to be called a "bubble", just as camp is referred to as a "terrarium"...with a full schedule that keeps me mostly on campus, i find it difficult to know or even come in contact with those who do not share the commonality of christianity...

although quite fearful...today i prayed for the opportunity to share my faith (with anyone, anywhere). i now patiently wait with keen senses, mindful that i may have to take a ginormous step out of my oh so cozy comfort zone for such an answer to prayer. hmm...i can hardly wait. :)

that is a great prayer request that i'm sure God will be more than happy to grant!

i can't imagine what it would be like to live inside a bubble. i live in the anti-bubble of community college where i have yet to meet a christian (or even someone sympathetic to christianity) in any of my six classes.

Sonia, Hey, haven't seen you or had a heart-to-heart conversation with you of late. This disappoints me :(. However, it makes me very happy to hear that you're willing to step out of that bubble that I'm sure everyone makes around themselves. What a conspiracy that everyone could actually have a bubble, huh? We all have our idea of "comfortable", but its good to see that you're willing to give that up for the cause of Christ. - You know who.

I think every predominantly Christian community is called a "bubble," but I find that those on the inside are just as much in need of the gospel as those on the outside. Discipleship, my friend, is not more valuable when it is shared for the first time or the thousandth time. You are potent.
