i've got newts!

last week matt & lacey gave me two of their eight newts they have in captivity. they captured them from a river during our spring break. after a week of contemplation, i've named them digory and lucy. (make sure you say their names with a british accent) :) lucy is hecka pregnant, but shes been pregnant for awhile. jenna says she thinks lucy ate a bad crustacean and bloated her b/c she doesnt seem to be laying any eggs. anyway, below is a pic of a sick jenna (she ate too much chocolate cake and it bloated her) watching active adventurous digory.

haha, funny. Are you sure that's how he spells his name? He might spell it "Diggery." I'm still trying to decipher if they are just small dinosaurs, frogs with tails, lizards, or plain newts. But they are definitely the best distraction any of us have seen in the UC for a long time (at least these past two years). Sincerely, Anne J. Keber

Nice Narnia names.
Congratulations on the newest additions to your dorm room. Are you sure mating newts are legal to keep as pets at CHC? I think we'd better check the handboook....

If we mail you ours (Sir Isaac Newt N.) then we can have a Newtist colony.
